Crying Cars
I was walking to my car after having to stay late to finish a presentation. I admit I was in a grumpy mood – ready to go home after having a very rotten Monday at work. As soon as I got to my level in the parking garage, I couldn’t help but notice someone’s blaring car alarm echoing against the concrete floor, walls, and beams. All I could think of was “someone please shut that car up!” And it was just then that I realized how much car alarms and screaming children are so much alike.
