Taxes

Just finished doing mine. Who the heck knows how to figure out a cost basis for selling stocks from your ESPP stock plan? Various purchase dates, reinvested dividends, first in first out - I probably didn't do it right, but whatever. Remind me next year to go to H&R Block. Either that or marry a CPA between now and 4/15/07.

If you sell within a year of purchse, the costs basis is what you actually paid. If you sell after a year, you get to say your cost basis was the original price of the stock before the discount.
